how about running the digibox through the video on one scart and the dvd on the other? most videos have two scarts on the back but if that`s wrong I`m sure westy could suggest an alternative!

Apparently Argos do one with RGB, switching (and transmission of the widescreen signal), at around £10. Unfortunately they do another one as well, one of them doesn`t do the business, so you may have to return one. According to a thread I saw on another newsgroup, you want the one that has "3 skts for in and a lead with scart plug for out".
Just checked that thread out again, and it seems that it might not do autoswitching.
Try http://www.keene.co.uk for a wide range - more money, though. Also http://www.lektropacks.co.uk/acatalog/Lektropacks_Online_Scart_Controls_10.html
Another one to look at is http://www.beyondhifi.net - hifi leads¦audio & video controls¦scart contyrols and switches section.

Steve best way is if your DVD has two scart sockets. Configure DVD, TV and digibox to use RGB. Connect DVD to TV and Digibox to DVD.

Then all can use RGB to the TV.

Take it back `cos it`s rubbish. Looks like it takes the DVD in preference to the digibox - have you tried swapping the inputs around?
Otherwise, maybe you need to get one that is manually switched - a pain, but at least you get what you want to watch.

Quite a simple solution to this, without the need for switching boxes :

DVD SCART OUT to TV AV1 (set DVD to output RGB, assuming that your TV can handle it on that)
Digibox TV OUT to TV AV2 (composite)
Digibox VCR OUT to VCR AV1

This is the set-up I have, and it works a treat - you can record analogue TV whilst watching digibox transmissions, or vice versa as long as you program your digibox. The DVD should override all pictures, then the VCR, and finally the digibox, if you were to have all three on at the same time.

Hope this helps :-)
