Please could somebody tell me if the Tesco LG3000 is a re-baged
Scan. If so does it have the same features ? (Macro off, MP3 e.t.c)

I dont think it is but could someone confirm. Thank you.

I have not seen the LG3000 in Tesco`s but I have seen the Logix 3000
on sale as an LG. the Logix = Manhattan = Scan.
Hence if this LG looks like the Manhattan it is a Scam ooops!! Scan

I have seen the packaging for a Logix 3000 and it says `Made by LG` on it. Does this mean that there is some connection between Scan and LG - not impossible I suppose, since both products are Korean.

does it work first time out of the box.

if it doesn`t and requires 2 or 3 trips back to tesco`s for new firmware it possibly is a scan.

Most of the cheaper machines are made in China and rebadged so they will all be pretty similar.

as I remember, in one of the round-ups of DVD players (maybe in home entertainment...) in the review of the Logix 3000 they said that Logix was a subsidiary of LG, that would explain things. Although it doesn`t mean that it`s actually made by LG!
