Who here`s going to the Reading or Leeds festival this summer?

I decided I had to go when I found out Prodigy are headlining the Reading festival (getting £3million to do so). They haven`t done a live show since their tour in `98 (although did do Reading in 2000). Loads of other great band & artists are going to be there.

Who else here is going and what will your best band(s) be?

A pile of mates and me are all going to Leeds festival, campiong for the full weekend (including thursday night). Went last year, was great laugh.

Why go to Reading festival when 2-ten FM have the Summer Excess going on in June. All Stars, Liberty X, Hear Say, Will Young and Chesney Hawkes all lined up to appear! Yes CHESNEY HAWKES, you didnt read it wrong. All they need are S-Club Juniors and they`ll have an unbeatable line up.

Yep going to Leeds. Cant wait to see Guns and Roses!!

Lol. Well the radio station are making out it is the best thing ever. They do have The Sugarbabes who my housemate reckons are ok, but it is a pretty dire line up. I mean who the hell thought to ask Chesney Hawkes? Hardly a name that springs to mind when organising a summer concert for 2002. Perhaps the Wurzels are free, or Mungo Jerry might have a bit of free time?
Reading did have Daphne and Celeste a couple of years ago though. I heard they got so much abuse and that was the last time they were seen in public.
