Has our Prime Minister broken the law (again)? Sets such a fine example.

How massively inconvenient."
I'm still quite relaxed about this...

MPs had more time to debate the Wild Animals in Circuses Act (affecting 19 animals) than they will to decide the future of 65 million people
It’s hard to think of anything which better illustrates this Govt’s contempt for people, Parliament & democracy

A relevant analogy would be if you wanted to borrow £100,000 but was only given 30 seconds to read a 50-page contract before being forced to sign.
Also, a sure sign of the end times is me agreeing with Farage - again

He says the PM struck the deal because he wants to avoid another extension to the Brexit deadline, which would "damage the Conservative Party in the polls".
"He wants to bounce us into this new treaty before we wake up," he says.
"It's the same story every time - it's about the Tory party, not the country".

Not really, I've seen loads of MP's describe this as 95% of May's deal and that the Maastrict Treaty took 40 days to debate, which means the 5% that has changed should be equivalent to roughly 2 days.
I'm not sure Boris is that bothered whether the deal gets through or not, he won't suffer in the polls so long as he can show that he's tried his best but Parliament has gotten in the way...again...
That narrative will work and is working, whether you're willing to admit it or not.

Actually he's now threatening to throw his toys out his gilded pram and, hold up..

Here comes the extension and the inevitable election.
Also, his best? That's honestly laughable.

No, those MP's all reckon they're just trying to make sure the deal is the right one and that no deal is off the table, which is clearly not their intention...
And I'm still relaxed about all this.

So without going through it all, with it only presented to Parliament with 3 days to examine, how do you suggest they narrow down the 5% to cover it all and agree it in 2 days?
Ste
We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..
Well, Boris's bill might have only had a 5% variance from May's, but May's bill was never debated in parliament as it was never published, so it would be the entire bill that needs to be examined & scrutinised. And while it may only be 5% different, the wording, subterfuge & conjecture may be completely different, so a full intepretation will be needed.
Also, Tusk has recommended an extension to the 31st January next year, and the earliest an election can happen is the end of November.
At least we'll have a break from those overly-optimistic 'Britain is leaving the EU on the 31st' ads.
EDIT: maybe not, played 3 times so far on Heart radio
