Gawker is the horrible side of UK tabloids, transferred to a website and then moved to the US. It certainly deserves what it's getting, but the flip side is the power of the super rich being in a position to launch such an offensive on a website if they don't like the content.

And the super rich hide their involvement in the lawsuit because the same site targeted them earlier, that for me is the worry, now will other websites avoid them for being next on their list.
