[VIDEO] The Willhelm Scream

Quote:
The Wilhelm scream is a film and television stock sound effect that has been used in more than 200 movies, beginning in 1951 for the film Distant Drums.

Most likely voiced by actor and singer Sheb Wooley, the sound is named after Private Wilhelm, a character in The Charge at Feather River, a 1953 western in which the character is shot with an arrow.

There`s a slightly sped-up version played when Ben Stiller throws Little Half-Squat at the end of Tropic Thunder too

There`s a number of old overused sound effects. I can`t find it now but I read a whole article which gave the example that every time you hear frogs at night time it`s the same recording, I think from an old Disney film.
Some wild life expert was getting all antsy over the species being native to just one place.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
