Was really weird.

Wondered what was going on as my room started shaking, but everyone else will be asleep.

I wasn`t sure if it was Earthquake but didn`t know, how I would know. :/

When I go on the net, one of my tabs is Facebook so saw that people I know were saying about it in the Midlands and North Wales also (I`m in Liverpool). How far do earthquakes travel then if you feel it in London aswell?

Probably a ridiculous question, but I was really surprised that people felt it in Llandudno (1hours drive away).

Felt it up here in Blackpool. About thirty seconds duration. Set the printer stand swaying and ornaments wobbling, and in spit of Shaun Of The Dead being on the telly, I could definitely hear/feel an infrasonic rumble. I`d compare it to a really heavy lorry passing.

Scared the crap out of me.

Put me down. You don`t know where I`ve been.

The US Geographical Survey`s website reported a quake of the magnitude of 4.7 and said the epicentre was 30 miles (50km) south of Kingston-upon-Hull.

The windows shaking and things falling over woke me up; my first thought was that it was one of the cats being clumsy, then I realised I was being rocked pretty hard from my head to my feet.

BBC site said 4.7! Exciting! :D

Not as exciting as the penultimate episode of The Wire that it disturbed though. ;)

Can`t sleep now. :¦

Plans for waking up before 7 are long gone. Got at least an hour before I`ll be able to sleep. :/
