I wasn`t being sarcastic when I said `Buy a Free to view Satellite system`. I know from my experience that the Streaming programmes are a waste of time, quality v bad & sometimes impossible to get on if everyone else is allready on. I got fed up of paying SKY & as per other threads I bought a Free to view satellite & I`ve never looked back. The lot could be bought for under £250-00 & that`s with an official 6 months card. It`s possible to watch the footie without a card as well thus knocking £70-00 off the above price.

A few more details on that for those of us less gen`d up would be appreciated, any sites with how to`s for instance.

I`m assuming you can install yourself.

Here`s 2 dealers, you can Google for more.

http://www.wizardsatellite.com/

There are a lot of systems to buy but this is one for starters.

Technomate TM1500 CI +. (This has a Cam for expandability & a programmable card slot) just about everything you`d need in a receiver. 80 cm dish, a 1 mtr would be better. Satellite cable & Card.

Aprox prices Technomate Receiver £100-00 .... 80cm dish with LNB about £30-00 Cable about £10-00 depending on length. 6 month card about £70-00 (the Satalb card gets all Premiership football, & all premiership plus football & 3.00 pm Saturday matches.movies & naughty stuff). If it`s bundled it can be bought cheaper.

Possible add on`s. A mono block to get 2 or more satellites or a Motor & mount to get all satellites. The full motorised system with card cost me £350-00

Thanks Paull.
So after the initial outlay you pay approx £11.66 a month for what Sky charge you £42?
Seems a no brainer
