....and it was absolutly rubbish. :(

Was up at 2am....back breaking work lugging boxes around driving all day and quite literally banging on peoples doors.....i`m feeling really disheartened...........

I`m telling myself that you gotta start somewhere and the only way is up right? :/

It is allways difficult at first. It will get better with time when people get to know you. Good luck and as the others say, chin up.

All the best,

Dr 42%er.

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

My Dad started in a similar way, and from scratch. It took some time before he became succesful, so keep at it. Tis the way of the world.
Big things have small beginnings, remember.
G`luck.

You have to start somewhere, and the first few weeks are gonna be slow till you get known...all you need is a few customers to tell their friends and before you know it you will have em queueing round the block...word of mouth is the best advertising you can get, but it might take time, you just need to stick with it. Have you done any advertising at all? flyers or an ad in the local paper?

chin up....it can only get better from here :)

I did 3000 flyers which my wife and i delivered ourselves - we had approx 10 enquires come in of which I`ve converted 3 into customers (well I`ve booked appts for them next week i should say). I`ve had an order from a local school which was worth, quite literally, a couple of quid........the websites getting loads of hits but i need to convert more into customers......I have a sneaky plan for tomorrow - just hope it works :/

I made the grand sum of £5 today.........not good :(

Keep your marketing up and consistant, love your customers to death as im sure you are, and people will soon talk about you to all their friends........

As others have said, its always hard working for ones self, as many of us know, and you can`t base it on the first day, so chin up, keep going, and enjoy it!! :)

Remind us what you are doing, where you are doing it etc
I`m sure you`ll find that there are plenty of locals wanting to do business with you!
If I remember correctly its something to do with food
Well the trend is to tell the supermarkets to stuff their overpriced crap so you are coming in at the right time
All the best to you!
