Page 1 of Cancelled shows

First of all a couple of weeks ago The Handler on Sky 1 was cancelled, and now i learn that Jake 2.0 will finish this Thursday aswell, now what really p***es me off is that you get into a series, start to like it then bang no more episodes, and you are left in limbo. Now i know sometimes you don`t know that the series is going to be cancelled or not, but why doesn`t Sky stop wasting our subscription money, they should do a bit of research first and then decide what to buy or not.
I`m sure i`m not the only one out there who is p***ed off about this?

To be fair though, both of those series sucked b[at]sll! (IMHO of course ;) )

Jake 2.0 looked from the trailers like it was going to be really good, I even enjoyed the first ten minutes of the first episode, but then it degenerated rapidly into your standard bad guys chasing the good guy plot.

As for The Handler, Joe Pantaloon (as he shall now be called!) is fantastic, and was such a popular character in the Sopranos before, you know, that there was no way that this series wasn`t going to be good, provided they had strong stories...I saw the first episode and never watched it again.

Having said this, however, they do have to keep gambling on these shows as who knows when they will stumble across the next Buffy, 24 etc.

And don`t get me started on Tarzan... >:(

I too had the sense not to watch Tarzan ;)
But the thing is you only watched a small percentage of the shows, yes some of them did suck big time but that wasn`t the point, it`s the characters that you get involved in and where they are going that is important, and you like to see some conclusion to that, IMHO ;)

Firefly, damn shame... >:( at least theres the DVD :D

Firefly was a Damn Fine Series.
Though I hear there`s a glimmer of twinkle of a whisper of a second season. I Hope. lol

Blake`s 7 was pretty groovy.

Fox picked up Tru Calling last week for a second season...
And for anyone who watched 24 and Alias, they were both picked up for fourth seasons but they`ll only start in January 2005. It`s a long wait but it`ll mean no 5 week gaps in the middle, which can only be a good thing.
