Page 1 of Today I went back to University...

Just wanted to share something with my fellow forumites..

started University today.. and i can`t wait to get really stuck in.. I`m the oldest on the course.. but it doesn`t bother me.. not when i saw the 3 female russian exchange students!!.. wowza..wowza... wow!!...

oh.. and my other news.. is that on oct 11th (2 weeks this coming saturday).. i get married...

Well - good luck on both counts!

It`s my 5th wedding anniversary on Friday and we`ve got a 4yr old, a 2yr old and one on the way in 8wks time - so if that`s anything to go by get ready to hold on to your hat :D

Yeh, good one. It`s never too late to achieve an ambition! I joined an art class half-way through last year, after not having drawn since school. Did watercolours etc. and at the end of the year they asked if any of us wanted to start a degree course this year. Even though i`m 53 I jumped at the chance. May take 5-6 years to achieve, but it`s the only degree i`m ever likely to achieve at my age. Go for it my boy, and best of luck with the marriage, hope you have lots of sprogs..................they`re great!!

I`m studying New Media Production.. and to answer your question.. i haven`t packed in my day job.. i work a nightshift at the Newcastle Evening Chronicle.. and i`ve rather foolishly decided to do both for the next three years.. study during the day .. work at night.. and sleep. hmm.. damn.. i forgot about sleeping..

ditto, started a BSc in Web Design and Development myself today - having given up a job I`ve had for twelve years...

really looking forward to it, aside from being skint of course!
