Hope this helps.

RE: Do you ever feel you don`t really belong where you`re living now ?

We have been living in an estate in central London for 13 years. Now, when one speaks of cosmopolitan life, I seriously believe that this average sized strip of an estate got lost somewhere in the world of rural oblivion circa Jane Austen era. Here, any slight inclinations to be different from everyone else is viewed with utter scorn! Their contempt is brazenly obvious and thus is shown with whispering, knowing nods and winks and the occasional suppressed sn*****s when I walk through the piazza. I do not wear flesh revealing clothing and I don`t don pearcings or tattoos, the fact that I have the courage to make a firm stand in maintaining my independance is seen as a violation on everything they represent i.e brainless, boring ciphers who share a single brainstem between them!Believe me, if we had the money, we would have been out of here like a shot.We have our hearts set on settling down in the countryside or in a coastal environment, we wholeheartedly believe that we will have the peace we have been longing for in the latter two areas.

Rock On.

RE: Instantly recognisable record.

The title music for Top Gear is JESSICA by the Allman Brothers. Another instantly recogniseable tune is Ace Of Spades

RE: Battle Of Britain

All I meant to say was where is the region 2 version of this film? It was just an observation.

Battle Of Britain

Tomorrow is Battle Of Britain day, where is the Region 2 release of the film? You would have thought that there would be more of a remembrance than UK History showing "Finest Hour". Who else feels the same way? >:(

RE: What was your first live concert?

My first concert had to be a baptism of fire: Motorhead 1979 in Munich 5h1t that was loud :D
Never seen anything as loud as Motorhead, ringing ears for days!!!

Multiregion Pioneer + RCE

Could anyone tell me wether the multiregion Pioneer DV360 from Richer Sounds is RCE compatible, I don`t want to get any RCE disks only to find out that it isn`t.

RE: Loss of my wonderful brother in law

Wishing you all strength and courage through a sad and tragic time.

RE: Help! Small Soldiers skipping

Thanks for the advice, I`ll stick with it for now. Sofar it`s the only disc that is skipping, maybe cleaning it in warm soapy water might help.
Cheers.

Help! Small Soldiers skipping

I have a Philips DVD 711 with the latest firmware. The machine is 3yrs old
and has just recently started skipping half a chapter (b 4 layer change) whilst playing Small Soldiers.
Have cleaned the lens but it still happens. Any ideas, anyone? Help appreciated.

Philips DVD711 & RCE discs

I have recently made my dvd player multi region ( thanks Alan Verth); the question I have is: will I be able to view RCE Discs aswell as standard region 1 Discs?
