Page 1 of How noisy is the PS3?

Well I have just got fifa 09 on the 360, hav`nt played the console in a while as i like the occasional game (every 3 - 6 months i get the bug.

Anyway I must say that the noise levels coming from the xbox are taking the p155! I must have forgotten how bad it was.

someone tell the PS3 is quiet and that will be my console of choice evey 3-6 months ;-0

Oh and they`ll be an Xbox for sale aswell !

Never hear my PS3 at all, regardless of whether I am gaming or watching a BR disc.

your xbox will be silent from 19/11/08 as the new dashboard update will allow you to rip games to your HD meaning no spinning disc and quicker loading/access times...assuming you have a HD....

I`ve always been put off getting an XB as I;d heard they were noisy buggers, and the PS3 was a little pricey, meaning I`ve been out of the next gen loop for forever..

You still need the game in the machine to start the game up to prove you own it.

Once its done that it will then just use the HDD

Give it less than a week per title for a nocd key plus rip to be released for each title. They said the same for the PSP...

the xbox is still noisy with no game in it. I think I`m gonna go and get a PS3, looks like I need to trade my Fifa 09 on the xbox 360 for a PS3 Version.

How much should I get for a premium on ebay? 100?

Well that was lucky, HUKdeals had fifa on the PS3 at £19.99 at Play so I`ve just ordered that, gonna go for PS3 with Midnight Racer LA (299) dixons or PS3 and GOW2 (309) at Play.

My PS3 gets noisey as its in a TV Cabinet and it gets hot. Its quieter when I leave the door open to lets some cool air in.

I am sure that if I took it out of the cabinet and put it on a shelf I wouldnt hear a thing.
