With regards to making a decent film/adaptation/remake without knowing anything about the film before you see it?

I also trust Uwe Boll.... trust that every film he ever makes will burn the eyes of anyone who dares watch his films.

No-one has mentioned arguably the most consistant film maker of our time, Martin Scorcese? For shaaaaame!

And I think mentioning posthumous directors is a bit of a stretch. Its not really a my favourite director poll and I dont think Hitchcock or Kurosawa will have anything out for a while.
