R1 Zulu - any good??

Alan Titherington (Reviewer) posted this on Tuesday, 19th June 2001, 10:15

Anyone seen the R1 Zulu? If so, what`s it like? Have trawled through all known DVD review sites and no-one mentions this film.

Should have posted this BEFORE ordering it from Futureent I suppose, but at £6.99 it`s probably worth it even though I suspect the `extras` stretch to it being in its own case, and I`ll be lucky if the end titles appear.

I bought the version At £6.99 from futureent.
Picture quality is pants!, washed out and out of focus, like a bad vhs copy.Would not recommend it although ive heard a decent remastered copy is coming soon which is good news.

Oh bugger. Not arrived yet, but I knew I should have asked about it first, as it seems too good a price for such a great film. Mind you, I`m sitll hopeful. Almost a week since I ordered it - one of futureent`s slowest deliveries so far.

Seems Zulu isn`t available any more. Let`s hope some Special Edition comes out soon - it`ll be worth every penny.
