A Cracking Little Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Ironduke (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 6th May 2001, 20:12

It`s called Ravenous, and is one best little films I have seen in ages, the story, gore and humour all mix well together and the performances by the cast, especially pearce and carlisle are excellent.

The R1 Disc includes 3 commentary tracks Deleted scenes, trailers, photo gallery and and costume and set designs.

there is also a little easter egg which isnt too hard to find.

The only problem I have with this disc is it states it is in 2:35.1, but the picture doesnt fit my widescreen tv in the horizontal you have to enter 16x9L mode to get the picture to act like a normal 3:35.1.

overall a great little movie
DVDBO are the cheapest if anyone is interested, roughly 13 quid

THE IRONDUKE ENDORSES RAVENOUS!

Okay, I can`t be the only one here who thought this film was one of the biggest piles of crap I ever wasted five minutes of my life in. My girlfriend saw it and said it was crap, and believe me she has some BAD taste in films. So when we were flicking through Sky TV the other night, I happened upon the film. I thought I`d check it out and see what exactly was so bad about it. I watched about 2 mins of the film and agreed completely with her. Crap film. Sorry ID.

I thought it was a bloody good film and would say it is well worth buying. Check out `In Dreams` as well another underated film.

Another `watchable` film on R1 is "Cutaway" starring Stephen Baldwin and Tom Berenger.

It`s basically a rip off of "Drop Zone" but I thought it was pretty good because I`m into skydiving.

Here`s the IMDB review.

I thought Ravenous was quite amusing!

What`s an "easter egg" by the way (my apologies for my ignorance!)?

easter egg = a nice little secret on the disc.

In Ravenous it is a map of the treck Carlisle and the 5 people he ate in the cave took across the country.

Thought the storyline was decent, found the film quite frustrating though. As for `In Dreams`, this film is not good. Downey Junior was completely wasted on this film.
