Nectar estores - get nectar points (effective discount) at online retailers

If you have a nectar card (most will know it as the Sainsburys reward card) you can earn points from a large range of online retailers including play, amazon an cd-wow.

I only just found out and am annoyed cos of the amount i spent with those 3 in the run up to xmas.

Link for details of retailers and how to earn the points here

Not strictly a bargain but an "effective" form of discount.

Haven`t tried it yet - but anything that gives me free money is a good thing.

Might also be worth checking out a site like Rpoints, a lot of those companies are also Rpoints partners. I don`t know whether the Nectar deal works out similar or not? For instance I think Dell give 2.5% back through Rpoints. If you want more details feel free to ask :)

with play, amazon and hmv you get 2 points for £1.
500 points is worth £2.5, so you have to spend £250 to get £2.5. rpoints is better but amazon is on nectar only.

At several sites there were triple Nectar points in early December............managed to get 6 points per £ at Amazon at the time...............BUT points only awarded on multiple purchases before VAT is applied ..........seem to get full points awarded on single purchases though.

What a pain that Amazon.co.uk don`t just have a link to Nectar, before you make payment, so you can get your Nectar Points >:(

Everytime I mean to purchase via the Nectar Link to Amazon, but keep forgetting because it`s easier linking from the Amazon Newsletter.

Niteowl

repeat a hundred times "I must remember to check nectar before making any purchases" :D
