http://www.emusic.com/

Sign up, get 50 free MP3s and get to keep them if you unsubscribe. Not sure what their library is like (will sign up soon) but thought I share it with all of you.

Satanica, think you need to use Allofmp3.com (or Bitorrent)

Edit: S, I take it you subscribed, there doesn`t appear to be any way to check what they have w/o? (Unlike All)

Good spot. I`ve signed up, even though I still really prefer the shiny silver things. Silly, I know, but I like collecting actual (as opposed to virtual) stuff...

Rights guys, I`ve signed up. It`s very specalised stuff and not your commercial releases. A lot of old stuff. Its very good for Jazz and blues if you`re into it. Don`t expect the latest releases or the top artists but if you like your alternative or specialised stuff, this is not bad at all and very easy to use.

Personally I`ve just downloaded Ray Charles Essenstial Collection and his last album, Genius Loves Company.

For those who can stand them, both The Streets album is on there. Not my cup of tea. If you`re into indie bans Bloc Party or the New Porngraphers, their latest albums are also on there.

Personally, looks like I will use up my 50 downloads and unsubscribe.

I was working for me OK last night. The songs aren`t mainstream, but then if they were, I could browse for them in HMV. If they had everything under the sun, I doubt they`d be offering 50 free tracks...
