Cheers m8 - just got Vertical Limit for £13 delivered.

Can you use these codes more than once? What if I re-register with another email address?

If you register with another email address, why don`t you refer yourself to get the amazon referal bonus?

Tsk tsk tsk - DVD Reviewer absolutely condone this action, Rupert.

That recommemdation goes completely against the whole refer-a-friend scheme : people have been found out by Amazon, and forced to pay the extra money that they thought they`d successfully conned.

And then have a think about why Amazon prices are higher than other DVD retailers - reason: people keep abusing the refer-a-friend scheme.

Consider yourself rebuked, old bean.

I disagree Clayts. Amazons prices are generally higher than all the other e-tailers we mention so much on there forums.
If they had a proper pricing policy where DVDs were a reasonable price, rather than all this refer-a-friend/voucher nonsense then there would be no "abuse".
It`s the same con as HMV,Virgin, Our Price etc... all two for one offers, but if you want one disk then its 20 quid. I think these retailers are shooting themselves in the foot. All that keeps them going is the mug punters who will pay what they ask.
Anyway...... rant over... that`s what 3 pints of Stella in the sun does to you.... ahem.

I guess you pays your money and takes your chance...I`m sure amazon check credit card numbers/addresses against refer a friend, to see what you`re up to any way..

(And what about all those people who don`t have friends to refer, but only have Friends, DVD Boxset ,- which is at least £5 more than some retailers...so it all balances out in the end...)

I think one of the main reasons that Amazon has high pricing is because ... ready yourselves for this ... they`re trying to make a profit. Dot Coms work only because people pour in cash and do anything for sales, Amazon might be pricier than some, but they`re not daft, and will undoubtably be about for a lot longer than many other "cheap" (ie suicidal) online dvd companies. The blame for the con should lie with the publishers whose astronomical dealer prices force the shops to sell them so high.

Now clayts, I don`t pick at spelling mistakes because anyone can slip on the keyboard. But I think you mean DVD reviewer *cannot* condone this activity. Don`t want to give the wrong impression now do we?
