Aldi are selling an 8-in-1 remote control from this Thursday for £7.99.
I got one of these last time they sold them and it worked on everything I tried it on! It replaced a jumble of 7 remotes!!

This one looks a bit more slicker too!

They sold very quickly last time so get in quick if you want one!

I just took a look at it, a bit long, but when you have 6 remotes it could be a god send. Will pop along for a closer look on Thursday.

Does it work on Sky Digital giving all the usual controls? IE: Interactive etc..

Yes - all the usual sky digital functions work.

It just takes a few minutes to work out which button does what

Will you be able to program them for non popular makes of TV, DVD etc?

Like will it work with my Wharfedale 750 DVD player?

and will it include an open/close tray option ?
My yamaha receiver remote gives me all the buttons I need for TV/DVD/AMP control except annoyingly open/close as far as I can work out.

I`m pretty sure they don`t put a open/close button on dvd or cd players or an eject on your video remote because you have to get up anyway to take the disk out.

saying that thought the matsui combi in the kids room has got an eject button on the remote, never noticed it before.

sorry gerald... panasonic, and hitachi both do!, but my wharfy doesnt...
