HMV sale starts next Thursday 27th. l don`t know whats on offer.

But clayts is the man who tipped us off on X-Files Season 1 dvd box set a while ago (Thanks again!)

Well, I think we can make a guess at the likely content: remastered Norman Wisdom films reduced to 4.99 (and still no-one will buy them); Dune at 9.99, Seven special edition at 13.99, a couple of middling-quality Jackie Chan movies at 9.99, etc, etc - i.e. the usual stuff.

Probably at one of the big London stores some sad muppet will get a new DVD player for 99 pence having camped out on the pavement for three days.

So true! Plus all of the EIV titles and ones with no extras will be £9.99.

goodfellas dvd £5.99,bridget jones diary dvd £9.99,mike bassett dvd £9.99,the ultimate mummy collection dvd £19.99,heat dvd £5.99.Couldnt see any other stuff worth a mention on the advert

They are also doing the Jurassic Park/ Lost World box set for £14.99 thats what i`ve been told

had a look in hmv this morning...its pretty much all the usual stuff they knock down in the sales. the only standouts are the godfather trilogy (£40), jurassic park/lost world (£15), and the ultimate mummy collection (£20)...also a lot of the warner dvd`s are £5.99.

You can (still - 4 months later) get the Godfather Trilogy for £29.97 from Comet if anyone`s interested - don`t pay £40 at HMV...

Heat sounds good at £6.

The classical CDs are particularly good this year... good selection & cheap.
