I can recommend the DC 100%- picked mine up off ebay last year with 2 controllers and Virtua Tennis 2 for £40.00. Today I bought Resi Evil Code Veronica, Jet Set Radio and Virtua Fighter 3 for the total of £22.00, about half the price of an xbox game LOL

I thnk you`ve got to look further than whether you or I have "anything against Saddam". It seems obvious to me that with the US mid term elections coming up in November Bush seems to be getting the American public concerned with threats to national security rather than domestic issues.

Therefore whether Saddam can harm us or not seems irrelevant. Blair at the moment seems ready to back Bush, but I don`t know whether he`ll back him all the way, as Leaders like Putin and other heads of Europe are warning against military action against Iraq.

Slightly off topic, but I watched an interesting documentary on C4 giving a differing point of view on September 11. The journalist made the point that US funded Israeli forces have been destroying Palestinian settlements like Ramalla and Jenin for years, therefore the attacks on the WTC were not viewed with the same shock as other nations, as it was a case of "well its been happening here for long enough", though obviously in not such a shocking fashion-or has it- Any views?

Attention all gameboy advance owners...

Take a look at gbxemu.com, it appears that if you really want to, you can download any GBA rom, and play it on your PC via an emulator. There is also a link to a flash advance linker (re-writable) card that you can then dump these roms on, and play in your GBA.

However, I`m a little unsure as to the legality of it all :-)

I agree with Sparkster, the latest version of WinMX is a lot more responsive than Kazaa, and the WinMX network seems to offer more of everything, download-wise.

I`ve found that if people want to buy something really badly they`ll bid any time of night or day. In general, I`ve found that any auctions that end 9pm to 11pm result in a load of last minute, carried-away-with-it-all bids, whether it be weekdays or weekends.

I agree that Edwards appeared to get the upper hand in the incident with Dawson, but I think it may have been more to do with his physical prescence than his mindset. I agree that the psychologists tried to shoehorn the hours programming to connect with their hypotheses. It just shows though that those who have power thrust upon them are sometimes the better option than those who sieze it.

Is there any way around the problem of getting import games to work on a PAL tv without buying a new TV?? With the majority of british games you get the option to change the frame rate ie 50/60hz, however this is lacking on imports and the screen flickers at 60hz. Is there any device I could get to get round this (apart from a new TV)

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I bought one of these for £99.99 from Toys R Us and also bought the Packard Bell 5.1 speakers for £59.99 from PC World. So for £160.00 I got a perfectly functioning (albeit v cheap) home cinema system.

When I bought one of the first jap megadrives that came out I got "Crackdown" with it- an overhead futuristic gauntlet clone that i played non stop.

Also Combat School for Spec+2- a next gen release would be tops, also adventure games like the Jack the Nipper series and Joe Blade etc- sorry, got all anorak then.

Having been rather sniffily told by a poster on www.adslguide.org.uk to check the FAQ`s, all I need to know is whether there is any difference in speed/quality of service between broadband and ADSL. As I currently have a non BT line I`m thinking of changing telco supplier in order to try ADSL as I`m limited by my Telewest line.

Whats the best/safest music sharing program??

Title says it all really- I`ve read some mixed reports about Morpheus P.E. as this uses Gnutella. Also, does each file sharing app come with this "spyware" built in? I`ve got a firewall and virus check etc, but can anyone recommed the safest (as far as safe P2P programs can go) file sharing program?

Whats with all the sony "fanboy" stuff? I don`t consider myself a "jerky" as your last post replied to me. The PS2 has an admittedly good 5 or 6 games but the vast majority of titles are lame straight to video affairs.
Its quite charming you defending PS2 to the hilt, but a little shortsighted in my opinion.
