I just finished watching the mummy on dvd and ive been wondering, what makes it different from the VHS version?? The VHS version was a 12 certificate, whereas the DVD is a fifteen and it also says `FULL UNCUT VERSION`. So whats the differences then?? I cant see them!!!

You should take a look at ebay, its an auction site but I have bought a lot of cheap dvds from there, i.e Independence day for £12!!! shanghai noon for £14 etc.. The only thing with that is youve got to win the auction OR take a look at dvdworlduksupplies, they do region frees and they are all £12.99

The reason I was asking was, I bought U-571 region free, no rating, less special features in the DVD and there was spelling mistakes on the cover, however i dont think it was a pirate.

Erm, can i just say, a good dvd is the encore dv 450, its a multi region(via a hack), plays video cds, mp3 cds and audio cds. It only cost me £129 and its a great wee machine.

Yes a region 3 will play on a multi region DVD, as multi region DVD players play region 1,2,3,4,5 and 6

Region 1 is definetely worth it. I just bought Me Myself And Irene At a computer fair, Region 1, and I have no idea when its out here. I am however still wondering what anamorphic widescreen is. I dont notice any difference, someone tell me please...
