For the latest HM Customs exchange rates go here. Canadian Dollar is 2.50 to a pound, and US dollar is 1.90 to a pound, so its a good time to buy :)

I have the same problem as most with SplashDVD, have 3 separate orders made in January, 2 of which have been partially completed, and the other yet to be sent.

I dont mind waiting, but I know it can be frustrating after the 7-14 days despatch notice goes by and there`s still no news of when your DVD is to be sent. They should update you via email once the 14 days expire and keep you posted, so we know they havent forgotten us. This would at least help improve the customer service a little bit.

Also I ordered the Beverly Hills Cop boxset at 6.99, and it was dispatched but 2 weeks later it didnt come, so I called them - and they sent another copy the following day, which I got within 4 days - so at least they didnt ignore me.

Still awaiting 4 DVDs though - might get them this year if I`m lucky.

Also arent u going to have to pay import tax on anything over 18 pounds at customs?

I agree to this, I ordered 4 items on 2 separate orders on SplashDVD around mid January. They have delivered one or two items to each order, and still havent sent dispatched the others.

However, they did dispatch a DVD box-set 2 weeks ago, but it never came, so I called them today, and they said they`ll send me a replacement - I asked for an email to say they`ll dispatch it - havent received it yet - anyway I hope it comes this time, and they said they`ll deliver the other items soon - but to be honest I`ll believe it when I see it.

Prices may be good but there`s a lot of hassle with SplashDVD. Just hope it sorts itself out.

Has anyone NOT received their copy yet? I got confirmation of dispatch on the 9th Feb, but am still waiting to get my copy. I got another dispatch from them for another DVD on the 11th Feb, and got that on the 16th.

I think my copy has gone missing :( I tried emailing them but they havent responded - what can i do?

But you were right about it being $9.98 CAD - as i did check yesterday and it was that price, and was going to buy it but wasnt sure what else I wanted. When I checked today it went up to $13.98 - still a decent price, although a little gutted I didnt act quickly enough.
