RE: Copper charges smoking cyclist

Nope, wrong again.

This place is full of angry old men, it`s been this way for years. Hence I only post very little.

I just see this type of thread every other week in here and to be honest it`s getting to be a joke.

Whatever, you lot deserve each other, removed from bookmark, guess I just needed a shove in the right direction.

Guess that means you can all moan about everyday things to your hearts content now, you will all die young with that anger though, find a release, have a w***, whatever it takes but channel it somewhere useful.

Oh yea, carry on..

RE: Copper charges smoking cyclist

Oh Noes, I was so right, it is full of moaning minnies

Some bloke on the itranets called me a twat /me runs.

That all you got, name calling on the internet, come on wee girl, you can do better, can`t you?

My comment still stands, there is more to life than a bunch of cyclists to be concerned about, even if he is a *dangerous* smoker.

These threads just grow in here when the slightest little comment about the evils of smoking come up, it`s like some of you are on some moral crusade and want to rule the world.

Some of you must think the whole world revolves around you.

RE: Copper charges smoking cyclist

You lot should take a step back and just listen to yourselves.

You are all moaning about a guy that rides a bike, so he flicked a fag butt, big deal!

Hero coppers, arresting cyclists, wooo I feel so safe in my chav infested neighbourhood, how bout you get your arse round Eltham and get the lil fekers riding motor bikes with no crash helmet, no license and going 50 in a 20 zone, (2 years we`ve been putting up with them tossers)

Ahh to much like hard work maybe? Easier to catch a cyclist?

Cyclists are causing traffic jams, sorry but whoever said that, look out your window in the morning, see all them other cars? They`re what`s slowing you down mate.

I can`t get enough of this forum, it`s so full of crap and threads like this just make me laugh so hard.

I can only say if this is all you have to moan about, your lives must be awesome or maybe you should get one....a life that is.

RE: Muslims to boycot Danish goods.

Life of Brian baby!

I love that movie, they should do another, call it Life of Mohammed.

You think I could get John Cleese?

I don`t, you know why? cos these f**kers have scared eveyone off, the w***ers :)

RE: Muslims to boycot Danish goods.

Muslims, I say f*** em. I`m so fed up with this crap.

More trouble than they are worth imo. They`re just looking for more excuses to hurt innocent people and blow things up.

Oh, I better say (for the PC brigade) not all muslims are this way inclined, or so we`re told.
On a side note, I remember in one of my classes the woman instrutor went to shake the hand of this muslim and he refused, he held his hand to his chest and bent over slightly, said he wasn`t allowed to shake a womans hand???

Do they treat their women like s*** then?

These are my views.

RE: Bloody ATM Machine

Cheers mates,

Yea, 2 weeks seems right. I just went in again and thats pretty much the gist of it. They wont refund it untill they do a through check.

The Woolwich ATM is not under the supervision of the Woolwich branch it sits outside, typical >:(

Axel

Bloody ATM Machine

Hey all,

This ever happen to you guys?

I went up the ATM this morning to draw out £60 to pay a couple bills and I put the card in, check balance and then put in the amount required.

It does it`s thing, returns the card but not the cash!!!

I then check the balance and sure enough, the B****** has deducted the money from my account :/

So anyway, I walk in the branch and they say I have to fill out a form so they can check records.

How long before I can get my £60 back I don`t know (could be weeks if what I haer is true), but I`m just really p***ed off as I need that cash, the bills wont wait.

Ever happen to you and if so what happened, did you get it back ok?

Can I go in and DEMAND my cash to pay my bills? Am I in the right to not move till they sort it?

Cheers all, just a bit annoyed is all cos they got us by the short an curlies in everything.

RE: Stomach Ulcer

You want me to possibly make your day, or even year?

Ok, I`ll try but in the end you have to hope this is the (or part of) the cause.

Contrary to popular belief ulcers are not always caused by stress but once you have one stress can increase the symptoms as can smoking etc.
You know all that though because it hurts like hell, right?

Anyway, a few years ago I had one, it was giving me nothing but pain for 2 years or so, sometimes I could go a few months with a break but it always came back.

One day I caught an article in a womans mag (hey the wife reads em and I`m so glad I read it that day)
The article was on Stomach Ulcers and how stress is not the cause in a lot of cases but a little known (then) bacteria called Helicobacta pylori (that spelling is probably incorrect) and that *if* you have this bacteria present it`s the cause of the ulcer and it can then be cured without surgery.

I was on the phone like a shot to my quack for an appointment, I tell him this and the git says that bacteria is in no way prevalent in this country and I`m basically wasting his time, I went another year of pain because of that >:(

I then mentioned it again to another doc at the surgery and he said he would give me a blood test (I had to push for it) and guess what? Yup, it came back positive.

He gave me the prescription which consists of very strong anti-biotics and some sort of acid killing drug, this course lasts 2 weeks.

Anyway, I`m rambling but push for this test.
A lot of people still are not aware of this bacteria (write it down) I`m now years free of my Ulcer and over the moon about that I can tell ya :D

I still want to kick that other `doctor` up the arse though, he made me go through another years pain because he`s the so called expert.

Hope this helps you.

RE: Suicide bomber shot dead

I would imagine the brief to the officers here are bring em down before they can set off the bomb that `may` be strapped round his waist.

I think the death shot is better in this situation, a wound could cause more deaths to innocent bystanders.

Put yourself in that postition, you would want that f***** dead, just in case.

This is of course only if you are 100% sure you have the scumbag that you`re looking for.

RE: Do you think our country has changed forever?

Sorry xfilesgurly, just didn`t want to start a flame fest and thought it better to stay out of it as it were.

I deleted it when there was no reply after I refreshed the page, again sorry matey.

RE: Guys, can you spec me a HD ready TV please?

That Aldi/Tevion? has some ghosting aparently (from a thread on av forums) 8ms grey to grey response time equates to what in the real world? maybe 25ms??

I`m still looking btw :)

Found a nice Video7 32" on ebuyer which has dropped in price nicely to £850.

It could be a Grundig/LG/Goodmans, it`s showing up in various places as a clone of one of these anyway. :)

Reports from av forums are very good.

Axel

RE: Guys, can you spec me a HD ready TV please?

I have an Aldi not to far from me (the one in Catford) might take a look in around the 26th.

I don`t hold out much hope but it can`t hurt to check it out.

Thanks

Axel

RE: Guys, can you spec me a HD ready TV please?

yea, I figured as much.

£1000 does not get you much these days where TV is concerned and I was looking at the wierd name oriental brands but was a bit worried.

Pfff, my TV won`t start some mornings then all of a sudden it will, totally random and so annoying :( which is why we need one pretty soon.

I`ll keep looking and thanks for the input btw, many thanks

Axel

Guys, can you spec me a HD ready TV please?

Hi all,

I`m in the market for a HD TV and was wondering if you guys can suggest something. My TV is pretty much on it`s last legs so I can`t really wait till things settle down in High def land :)

Anyway, budget is limited to £700-£999 NO way can I go over that.

It needs to be a minimum of 30 inches screen

It needs to be located in the UK, online purchase is fine. (and probably get more for my money this way)

Thats about all I can come up with so any help will be greatfully recieved.

Ohh, one thing, links to any would be great.

many thanks

Axel

RE: Manchester Council stamps out smokers with a £50 fine

Yea, yea and lets kill all the car drivers for making me breath in their stinking exhaust fumes.

I love this forum, it`s not full of zealots or anything!

RE: Updating firmware - a JAP PSP in UK via Wifi ??? or connecting to Sony.

Download the file from lik sang (sorry, I lost the direct link to the file) You will have to search around for it.

Extract it to your PC then transfer it to the GAME folder on the PSP memory card and just run it from there. Like a normal game.
Make sure you are using the adaptor so no danger of power running out due to low battery.

RE: goodnight sweetheart

Yea, would like that myself.

Another I would like would be Malcolm in the Middle, wonder what the hold up is.

RE: LOOKING FOR A CRYSTAL XBOX

Just as an aside a little tale for you about a lucky break we had just before Crimbo.

Our old, black X-box went tits up and as it was only 6 months old we rang GAME and told em and they said that they re-supply under the terms of the 1 year warranty and I was to bring it in and they would change it.

The Manager then went on to say that "sorry, we only have the Crystal X-boxes left and would that be ok? " :D

That was game in Woolwich if you`re close by.

Don`t have a clue what the first one is (a pps file extention??) but the second clip is great :D

RE: Do people really stand up to wipe their arse?

You guys should try it the Army way!!

If in the field and rations are sparse you are given around 6 sheets to last the term of the excercise, you take 1 sheet, poke your index finger through the middle, it then is shielding your hand.
You wipe and pick at the er...orrible bits with your index finger, then you draw the sheet of tissue over said finger thus removing the s*** that is stuck to it.

Just don`t bite your nails :)

RE: Prince Harry shows them how it`s done

Fu** em,

They lead a privaliged life, they can take their chances like the rest of us. If they don`t like it, step down and forgo the luxury cars, big houses and big lifestyle.

Never happen, they know where their breads buttered, it`s buttered by the mug British public unfortunately.

Jesus, I could start a flame fest here but I won`t drag the forum down :D

RE: WTF? Reviewer browser Hi-Jack?

You guys have started using AVENUE A, or at least thats what Spybot keeps blocking every time I load a page here.

I don`t even know if Avenue A is a serious threat but it`s damn annoying.

Something to do with your banners maybe?

RE: Anybody had a Link machine steal their money??

Yea, happened to me a year or so ago. I was using the Link outside my local Woolwich branch (whom I bank with)
Next working day I went in there to tell em and she looked at me and said "thats unlikely" or words to that effect.
Anyway, I fanally got it into her thick head that I was`nt making it up and she gave me the forms to fill out (yup, get ready for paperwork)

I was ushered in to this little space with tables and chairs and guess what, 2 others filling in the same form that had lost their money as well.

What a bitch! she must have known!

Takes about a week or so to get it back.

RE: The worst film I have ever seen.

So no one has paid to see XXX with Vin wosname then?

Hehe, very wise. I never paid to see it either but for some reason it`s in my collection. (now there IS a confession!) I watched 10 minutes and it`s never been within 10 feet of the DVD player again. :D

Did anyone actually go to the cinema to see this pile of poop?
