RE: ScreenSelect - Do they tempt you back?

I`ve just been tempted back with a three months for the price of one offer that I received by post from them - £14.99 for the three disc deal. I expect i`ll cancel when this is up though as I had the same issues as you.
Hope this helps.

RE: £3 DVD`s @ Choices

all seem to be £6 now

RE: Quickest UK delivery of Simpsons 6 (R1) as of now???

Try www.movietyme.com.

I placed my order on 04/08 and it was delivered on 06/08.

I was pleasantly surprised as the despatch e-mail said it had been sent from their US warehouse, so I was expecting to wait about 10 days to two weeks for delivery. Plus I haven`t seen it any cheaper than £24.99 inc p&p.

RE: Taken DVD box set £11.99 inc P&P!! RRP £49.99

No probs ;)
Nice to be able to post a bargain after all the one`s i`ve previously got off this site.

RE: CD`s £2.99 Delivered - Robbie Williams, Travis, Ronan etc

When going through their terms & conditions from their checkout, it says:

"Company Registered No
53043924K"

and powered by worldpay (like CD-Wow).

Anyone know how to check if their are genuine from this?
or does worldpay offer customer protection against fraudulent sites using their services?

Initially I thought it was too good to be true, but I remembered being in a store in Sydney last year, can`t remember the name, but all their CD`s worked out about £3.50 each (the above titles included). Perhaps the site could be genuine - although I`m now holding off ordering anything til I know more.

Ahh, just read the above.

Ronan Keating - 10 years of hits £2.99

and more.

I don`t think I`m allowed to post it here :(

Although I did come across a 10% off code on a site called pricedash.com that works.
It then works out at £269.99 + £3.50 P&P :)

Mods: Apologies in advance if I shouldn`t have posted the name of the above site.

Cd Wow! DVD Rentals

I`ve been with CD Wow/Lovefilm for a while now. About 7 months ago two of my friends who I talked into taking a free trial, became full-paying members. The offer at the time was that if you got a friend to join, you would be rewarded with a free DVD from a selection of 20 titles and four free weeks of rentals. I was then rewarded with 8 weeks free rentals but have not received the two dvd`s as promised, which they said would be delivered within 28 days (nb. they let me choose from a selection of 5 DVD`s, not 20).
I have since e-mailed them three times, each time they reply saying that they are working through a backlog and the dvd`s should be with me soon - my last reply was in December (must be some backlog!)

On their site it says that they have not yet been despatched. To be honest, I was happy enough getting the free weeks of rentals, but I feel that they should follow through with what was originally offered.

Has anyone else had any trouble with this promotion?

Or anyone got a contact number for them (can`t find one on their site)?

Sorry for ranting on but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: Best standup dvds?

Got `Jimmy Carr - Live` a couple of weeks ago on DVD, I haven`t laughed so loud in ages!

RE: Great T-Mobile Offer

Got a call from T-Mobile earlier to let me know that they had my phone (V3) ready for despatch but they would be charging me £39.99 + £5.50 P&P. When I placed the order on Tuesday it was free + £5.50 P&P on the relax 100 deal. The person I spoke to said she would not honour the order unless I paid as I should have read the disclaimer on their site. I told her that on Tuesday the price had gone from free to £19.99 to £39.99 (which it did) but she said I must be mistaken.

I told her to cancel the order as I would not be paying the extra. To be honest I didn`t mind paying the extra as it still seemed like a good deal but the salesperson had an attitude problem and I wouldn`t give her the satisfaction!

Hope everyone else who ordered has better luck.

p.s Did anyone manage to get the V3 for free on relax 100?

RE: Great T-Mobile Offer

Has anyone who ordered received their phone or even a confirmation e-mail from t-mobile yet?

Ordered yesterday morning and have only received an automated e-mail with my order number.

p.s Thanks Mike for posting this ;)

RE: Argos clearance 75% *OFF* loads of items

Hi,

Can`t just believe what happened. Got an e-mail from Argos saying that there were server problems on their site in October (I had placed an order for the TFT monitor @£42.50 on the date of the original post) and that if I give their customer services a call they will re-order the goods. I checked their site and the monitor is on offer at £139.99. But the e-mail said:

"If, at the time you placed your original order, the products you ordered were on promotion, we will still honour that lower price."

So, I told the guy when I phoned that it was £42.50 at the time of order. He then said that he would over-ride the price and charge me £42.50!

It gets better, I had also originally ordered a dvd recorder at £45 which is out of stock at present. He told me to ring back next week when they are back in stock and it would also be sent to me at the ordered price (the current price is £179.99).

Can`t quite believe it, am in shock!!!

If like me, you ordered on the web and the order was cancelled I would give them a ring.

Good luck!

RE: Toshiba SD220E & JPEG

Hi,

You could try a program like DVD Pictureshow, it will allow you to record jpegs to cdr`s and play them like a slideshow, on any DVD player that can play cdr`s. ;)
