Many thanks for the hack - used the hex file bvurn`t onto a cdr , and the machine does indeed display "all regions enabled".

I have tried it out with region one and region 2 discs and it works perfectly.

Does your Hack make it region free, or do you have to enter it each time you play a different region disc?

If it does, I would be very interested to hear it!

RE: burning programs

Try updating Nero - there is XP update. This may resolve your problems.

Otherwise why not try going to the HP site and see if there is an update driver for your CD writer.

For back to back copying you can`t beat CloneCD - available for download on the net.

Cheers Andy - I`ll give it a try.

Now if only we can get the all regions hack (Mute button to get multi region) sorted out, instead of entering the region every time - we`ll all be very happy.

I assume you can change the region as often as you like without the danger of a lock-up.

It wasn`t ex display (sealed in a box) but I have since returned to the Northampton store and they don`t have it on display anymore.

So could be a case of shopping around - hope you are lucky!

Philips MX1060D Home Cinema - £199 at Comet!

Bought this at local (Northampton) store. I assume this is a nationwide offer.

This is a saving of up to £150 on on-line prices -Unbeatable.co.uk etc.

I think it`s because a new model has come out.

I am absolutely delighted so far (I didn`t think I could afford a 400 watt system, 70 w rms per channel) particularly at this price which is the same as the much lower powered Grundig system.

Have tried the Multi Region Hack - System\1,6,7 - then region code, which works fine, but the mute button for multi region does not seem to work.Has anyone else found a way round this?
