I bought the phone from A1 Comms on tuesday, arrived Friday due to the enormous amount of people going for these deals! Charged the phone overnight for 17 hours and started playing on Saturday. Nothing wrong with the phone (nice piece of kit) or A1 Comms. The only thing that concerns me is that if you live on the border of O2 or 3 you`ll find that it will go onto the O2 network but then try to connect to 3 for 5 minutes, often resulting in no signal even if the phone is stationary! Well worth getting though, superb deal!

The thing that got me about that email from dvd.co.uk was the fact that they reckon the RRP was £27.99 !! Would anyone pay that price for a dvd ? I wouldn`t ! I`ll wait for the extended trilogy later in the year.

Lack of Scart Sockets

Guys, I would like to add my xbox, ps2 and my new Sky+ to my tv via scart leads and as I already have one digibox, dvdrecorder and tivo connected at the moment - can anyone advise on the best way of connection these babies to the tv output and the cheapest way of doing it ? Hope this makes sense !

There are only chinese subs on this as the soundtrack is in English (5.1 and DTS) - subs can be turned off if required. The picture is very good and the sound superb (DTS) - no tried 5.1 yet.

unless there is an amzing offer on another website, I only use these guys now - superb stuff. Just wish they`d give more info on the titles such as this one - no idea if it`s anamorphic or not.

Wayne3765, I spoke to the press office for blockbusters today regarding caerphilly (using my journo powers!) and they told me that all stores should have received an email telling them of the offer. I decided to go down to caerphilly branch tonight to check and managed to pick up another 6 dvd`s with the offer including die another day 2 disc version and changing lanes (both for 7.99!) Want to get spidey but they didn`t have it!! So get yourself down there!

Sky+ help re £10 and extra sub

I wonder if someone can help! I am thinking of going with Sky+ now that the £10 a month is being scrapped.

I currently run tivo and a digibox with £31 package i.e. sports.

I`d still like to run Tivo on my current digibox and install sky+ to stand alone.

Can I therefore have a mirror sub for £10, run tivo and current digibox and sky+ in the same room ?

New deal at Blockbusters

Hi guys,

thought I`d take a look in my local Blockbusters for ex rental deals and after looking through piles of dvd`s, many under £7.99 I decided on three, namely Men in Black 2 (2 disc), My little eye and 8 legged freaks.
When I went to the counter, the girl told me that from Monday they are starting a special offer on ex rentals from £7.99 and under - buy one, get one free.

She tried the barcodes tonight and they worked so I picked up another DVD (Harrison sub film) and the four came to £13.98 !

Thought you might like to know - MinB was listed at £5.99

Amp Advice with Pan E50

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Pannie E50 dvd recorder and my amp at the moment is the Sherwood 6090 RDS. I need to upgrade my amp so it decodes DTS etc. Does anyone have this amp (The Yamaha that is !) ? Any good? The amp is currently £219 at Richer.

I also have Tivo and Sky and wondered if this will compliment the set up ? Many thanks.

Anyone know the best connection process between Sky, Tivo, Tv and Panasonic E50 ?

Guys, I`m also thinking of buying this model as my video is on the way out and can`t see any point replacing it with another. I apologise for my lack of knowledge on this but can you record on both formats i.e. ram and dvd-r? Also can you connect this to a tivo machine? I don`t have sky plus and don`t plan to until they scrap the monthly sub!! Any advice welcome! Is this the machine for me ? Not interested in the home camera scene so just curious to archive stuff off sky/tivo etc Thanks.

Techtronics have a terrible reputation and after being stung myself I certainly wouldn`t buy anything from them - however good the bargain is.

Of course, I`m sure there are plenty of people who have good things to say about them - I`m not one of them, buy with caution.

I noticed on Play that they have all three Rambo`s at £5.99 - is it worth holding out for the trilogy at a good price or just get these three. Is there much of a difference in the dvd`s you get in the trilogy i.e. any extra dvd`s ?
