Anyone know where I can get a list of films with high (7.3) bitrate

I think 7.3 is the highest giving optimum picture, if I am right, any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated

Help please re Limit DVD8080a DVD Player

My sister has this player, today she turned on the DVD player & the word "NO" appeared on the display then the DVD player turned itself off & cant be turned back on. I have taken it apart & there is no disc in it, no faulty contacts to the eye & the internal fuse is fine

Any ideas whats happened & how to fix

Call Of Duty online punkbuster help please

I have CoD & have been playing online for sometime now. I have just updated to 1.4v which now includes "punkbuster" this is fine & I have it on & can still play most servers, however, a couple of serves keep kicking me off after a few minutes claiming I have an old version of pb, I have auto update for pb & have even been to pb web site & downloaded updates but it still happens

Does anyone please know how I can overcome this

I used to have over 1000 but sold loads last year on ebay (couldnt resist it - I had the bug) I currently have over 600 DVD`s but I havent watched a film for 3 weeks now as my 42" WS TV is at the menders :( even so, I must have at least 400 unwatched films & around 100 of them, I have never watched & dont know what they are about lol, if its new & has a good actor in it, I buy it. The wife isnt too chuffed but as footy season is almost over & I wont be renewing my season ticket, I think she`s ok although a golf membership is on the horizon - dont tell her lol

I have these superbits & my opinion is :-

Crouching Tiger - waste of space (Especially DTS is only in Mandarin)
Godzilla - Very Good DTS
Desperado - Very Good DTS

I watch on a 42" Panny RPJ & cant say picture is that much better but was worth it for me for the DTS tracks

Wont be getting any more though, only because I will only trade now as collection has now been reduced to around 300 titles as I have no more space on my shelves

How can they say its a sale when almost every films is the same price it was a few months ago & in fact I know at least 1 title is DEARER !!! I bought Spiderman (2 Disc Set) LAST MONTH for £6.49 from Play, now in the SALE its £7.99 !!!

What a con, must be trades description act violation somewhere here !!!!

If you go to http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/main.php?main=Blank+DVD&session=a41909bff6a894c0ce9570951b5d045f they will sell you a 5 disc set of mix & match makes for about £5.00 - well worth it I got 4 x DVD+R & 1 x DVD+RW glad I done this as found out that my DVD player only recognises DVD+R & not DVD+RW otherwise I would have just bought the RW media & been stuck with it

Is this a loop hole in pirate DVD`s

I have seen a web site that has Pirated DVD`s (LOTR 3 etc..) however, they are not selling them. What you have to do is buy an empty DVD case & with each case bought, you get a free DVD of your choice !

Can this be legal ? after all, they arnt selling them !!

Ben, yes mate I have played both games for over 40 hours, so I have played them to death :p dont forget, I work from home :)

Mind you, what I didnt say is that Im really good @ Fifa & crap @ Pro Evo so that will have a bearing on my judgement, also, for my sins I am a Pompey fan & its the 1st time Fifa have had them on a game so obviously I get to play with Pompey :) I dont doubt that the gameplay will probably be better on the PS2 version of Pro Evo but I havent sampled it yet, maybe I will shortly, but till then it Xbox for footy & Call Of Duty for PC :)

The reason Wyatt Earp sprung to mind is that I saw it on a DVD trailor recently, cant remember which DVD though - seen so many I think the BBC are gonna ask me to do film 2004 lol

Pro Evo 3, sorry to say this but..

Ive played Fifa 2004 (Xbox Version) & thought it was ok, then I played Pro Evo 3 (PC Version) & thought WOW !! so I have slaughtered it to death, however, last night I put on the Fifa again & played it for an hour or so & have got to say, I think it actually is better than Pro Evo 3

Another can of worms opened :) At least I can truly comment as Ive played both to death already, roll on 2005 :)

I have Marantz SR7300 with full 6.1 DTS-ES, etc.. & I have it so that when the sub kicks in, the sofa vibrates (and its on the opposite side of the room) so yes, very load, however, I am very luck as I live in a detached house & only have 6 neighbours who dont complain as im over 6ft tall with shaven hair :) but I can see your point. Ive recently (well my wife) have had a son (1 month old tomorrow in fact) & so far havent been able to crank it up, it doesnt seem the same. All my new DVD arrivals are still in cellophane, probably should have waited to buy most of them as by the time I get to really appreciate things like LOTR-TT Extended 4 Disc DTS ES 6.1, it will probably be reduced to £6.49 @ Play.com & ive had it 2 weeks or so already :( & today I ordered GI Jane in DTS (not sure why yet :) ) & will probably have to wait til easter to appreciate the DTS

I was doing ok until I found that Asda are doing 24 x 330ml bottles of Heiny Export for £11, then the bottles of Jack Daniels, Bailey`s & Port come flooding in not to mention the umpteen bottles of red & white whine, champers & asti. Its like a brewery at my house already - hic !!
