Enough is enough. After watching this movie, I can honestly say that I never ever want to see another Dinosaurs movie.
This movie is embarrassingly predictable with no characters development at all and all the charm that was attributed to the first movie in the series is long gone.
The video transfer is excellent. There are no compression signs at all and the colors are very well contrasted. Obviously, the CG is awesome, but then again, we`ve seen it already and yeah, once you`ve seen a dinosaur, you`ve seen them all.
The DTS and DD 5.1 soundtracks are excellent as well. The surrounds are used frequently and - mind you - make a lot of noise. The LFE channel makes sure the entire house rocks.
The menus are animated with sound.
The extras are extremely extensive (and this is not a 2-disk set) and include a commentary, extensive behind the scenes featurettes, explanation about the CG, several storyboards, some production notes, a pictures gallery and some very nice DVD-ROM features (galleries, games and more).
Bottom line - a good disk yet a weak and predictable movie. Up to you.

Wafer thin on the plot side of things...still good fun though.
Better than Lost World anyway.
Good Extras, superb transfer, DD and DTS nice to see.

when it came out in cinemas,i didn`t think much of it,for one it was to short(93mins!)and the ending was a bit naff, but i soon
came to realise that it was not such a bad film after all,as for the extras i thought there was some good ones like the tour through ilm and there was was some rubbish ones.

While it does not compare to the legendary original "Jurassic Park" or share any real link to either of it`s predecessors Jurassic Park 3 is an exciting summer thrill ride that`s non stop fun for the duration. Although the ending could use some work and there is basically no character development Joe Johnston is successful at creating what he aimed to do and that is a fun summer film.

Universal`s DVD offers excellent audio/video quality with some interesting supplemental features in a disc that truly earns it`s Collectors Edition moniker. Whether you pick it up solely to finish off your collection or because you liked the film, there is no doubt in my mind that Jurassic Park 3 is a good purchase.

Feature:

Jurassic Park 3 is an enjoyable summer pop-corn movie that is a great thrill ride. Though it doesn`t measure up to Steven
Spielbergs Original, it`s great to see Sam Neill back in the lead with great support from the ever brilliant William H. Macy
and Tea Leoni (Mrs Duchovny to me and you). It`s a shame that Mr Spielberg himself didn`t direct this and it`s a little too short 93 Minutes.

Sound:

A great DTS track enhances the action

Picture:

The picture is crystal clear and top notch

Extras:

There`s a good commentary, and there is plenty of behind the scenes documenatries and special effects information. A good selection from Universal.
