there are 2 boilers one for heating one for hot water...its the heating one that's about 20 years old.

im buying a house and survey says I need to get boiler and electrics checked as none have been done for about 4 years. can anyone tell me who pays for the checks/service or repairs

trying to do a system recovery on a hp 550 without discs.
have seen ways to do it by using different F keys.
says if press F11 or F8 then should come up with system repair or factory restore etc.
non of these seem to give me that
any ideas

we have no pc connected to router. had a tower unit bout 2 year ago but went faulty and was never replaced. so since then its just been...modem/router and odd laptop/phones and kindle all working wi fi by entering password

theres no limit. have had a few more working at same time before...but at moment its just the 4. they were all working together up till Saturday. have restarted all items including modem and router. powered down all phones and kindle even powered down my laptop incase that was stopping others from working but made no difference.
were with virgin and im sure if I tell them laptop working ok they will say it cant be anything to do with them

can anyone please explain why my computer is working wi fi and a kindle fire and 2 internet phones aren`t when they have been for some time. they work on another supplier away from home ok. tries connecting and authenticating then just tries again.

says computer as been blocked...but can be unblocked if pay a fine into....pay ucash.
guessing been hacked or a virus...how can get out of it...is it to do recovery disc?

is it possible to be frozen off the net...possibly cos illegal sites been visited and a pic of the person who owns the comp was taken at that time.

also cannot use computer at all  even if not going on net

is there a program that will check if dvd/cd reader-writer is working correctly or if part of software as crashed. cant burn discs past track 6 and wont always play discs i put in. laptop is about a year and half old

have been burning music that i had downloaded and put them on to disc to try and free up os but still only have 2.29gb free. i have noticed some programmes are listed in folders when it doesnt show on uninstall on control panel. how can i delete these if there not on control panel. have refrained from altering partions as not that happy to tackle summat im not to sure of.

on my computer it says i have 74.5gb of OS to which i have only 5gb left on the hard drive c.

i have 201gb out of 202gb free marked data d. can i make the os part bigger easily.

thinking of getting a new phone and the sony ericsson experia ray caught my eye. i use my phone a lot to listen to music and my old phone is a sony walkman phone.
as anyone got one of these or can anyone recommend a good phone with music.

not sure if i fancy a touch screen phone but with big clumsy fingers and being a little on the blind side due to age....the touch buttons on this phone are quite large

niece is off to uni in september but is leaving her car at home for when she comes back every now and again like half terms.

have a advent laptop, just over a year old. when unplugged from charger finding battery dying within 15-20 mins even tho battery sign saying between 50-75% charged still. duff battery?

have just bought alba cfd1671a lcd tv. been trying to set up sky remote control to be able to adjust volume. all the codes i have been recommended dont seem to work.....any ideas.

as anyone had any dealings with scalewatcher. its a device to stop and cure limescale.
