Check out the Archos Gmini 202s,bought it off Amazon for £120 ,20Gb great mp3 large screen has a great little feature on random tells you what track will be next.

Cheap Ink Refills

Lidl have ink refill kit at only £1.99 and they are Hewlett Packard ink.I was a bit concerned that using these things would be messy but I found it quite simple and I have a Canon Pixma ip4000 printer.Did some test prints on photo quality paper and results where ok. :)

You can get bigger disc they are call dual layer or also known as DL(8.5Gb),but they are only supported by computer DVD writers.Although a while ago Lidl did offer a DVD Recorder that was able to write to dual layer discs.It also had 160Gb Hard drive,you could record from DVD>hard drive<DVD.Found one on Ebay,sorry might be sold

Technika DVDR 2005 Mulitregion Hack

1. Turn on player (with Standby button on player), without any disc in the drawer

2. When "No Disc" appears on screen, open the tray (I used the button on the player, don`t know if that matters)

3. Press 0, 0, 8, 6, 0, 0, 0 on the remote, then press "Select" on the remote
(the last number is the region setting - 0 for multiregion, other numbers for that specific region) - a 0 should appear on the screen

4. Turn player off (without closing tray first) using the button on the player.

Now when you turn on the player, it will be multiregion. I don`t know if it defeats RCE (haven`t tried it yet), but if it isn`t, try doing the hack again and setting it to the specific region of the disc.

I bought a TECHNIKA from Tesco for just under £70,works fine has the same menu setup as the Cello .so far so good

Well had it for a couple of days and have to say its not bad,recording quality even on slp(super long play I guess)is equal if not better than VHS on short play.I have a Sony DVD recorder as well so only wanted this for those very rare occasions when there are three programmes on I want to watch at the same time .One feature it does have which I find useful that my Sony doesnt have is Quick timer record. i.e. - 30,60,120min 8)

Bought one yesterday at my Blaydon branch,got it home set it up no problem,put on timer to check out operation.Got up this morning switched on sound no picture.Off to work so have to wait till I get home to see if all connections are ok :(
