How much better when you kick/head the ball somewhere where the goalie isn't.
Nice goal Lotte
Seems every bloody shot was going right into Leat's arms for a while.

They've just said Arsenal thirty seven shots
Villa one.
Looks like third unless we make a complete pigs ear of it.

Deep breath for the Conti cup final v Chelsea

Give this one a read even if you're not an Arsenal fan.

It's about Evan Gershkovich, the WSJ journalist detained by Putin, who is.

I'd have take a draw before kick off so not too disappointed.
What looked like a well worked plan nearly came off i.e.: holding them until the last 15/20 mins and then trying to nick it.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling needs a serious kick in the nadgers.
Trying to watch that and the Conti cup at the same time was ridiculous.

Had no idea that Maanum had collapsed just noticed a particularly long injury and loads of personnel round a player.
I hope she's okay, apparently she was conscious and talking not long after.

Winning it five mins from the end of extra time was sweet.
Second year in row and the bonus of a seriously pi**ed off Emma Hayes.
Actually shoved Eidevall away and gave him a right mouthful.

Apparently all because she didn't want the multi ball system used although they made use of it in the last five minutes. Not sure who gets to say whether it's used or not anyway.

Yes, crazy stupid scheduling! Even one after the other would have been dumb because of extra time and penalties.

I was giving most of my attention to that game so became unable to pay much attention to the City one, and then this happened and then was paying no attention to the mens game at that point.

Glad she is okay, latest on BBC site is: "She did not need to go to hospital and travelled home with her Arsenal team-mates"

So hopefully nothing long term, that was a super worrying amount of time the game was stopped for.

Yeah, and I think we deserved the win the way we were seeing the game out. Really don't know why she was so ungraceful in defeat, but perhaps thats also why she's been so successful.

Also, THANK GOD FOR VAR! That was a hand of god moment if ever I saw one.

Happy with a draw at City, just need Liverpool to slip up which they seem to be keep getting close to with each game.

I'd call that workmanlike.
Did what we had to do including getting some minutes into players that we'll need before the end.
Brighton will obviously be a bit more full team but maybe not everyone as Bayern are just round the corner.
I'm going to miss the Bayern match due bad planning of a trip. I really should know better by now.

Edit:
Update on Frida Maanum

I'd call that... when half your team is used to being on the bench. Anyway, job done, nothing scary, on to Saturday!

Thanks for the Maanum update, heart attacks is always the worry when a player goes down like that. Hope it's nothing serious or long term.

Listened to the first half and watched the second.
I know we played well and I know we got another clean sheet
(Gabriel's celebration at a clearance) but I'm not sure my nerves can take this run in.
Still haven't got over always expecting something horrible to happen.

Trossard's homecoming match went well. 😁

No booking for Havertz either which means he now can't tot up to a suspension as it resets after fixture 32.

One thing we'll definitely be celebrating and maybe we can serenade them about it at their place.

Well, thank Utd for the draw that you should have won, but also neither of them looked good in that game which gives me hope for our game at Old Trafford being a lot more comfortable than we expect it to be.
