Page 1 of Ricky Burns (Spoilers)

As most on here probably know I am a huge fan of Ricky, but tonights decision was a travesty, Ricky was woeful, a carbon copy of the last fight but his opponent didnt quit....I gave rick 4 rounds, with the knockdown he wasnt even close to getting a draw which one judge gave him let alone winning by 2 rounds, which means the judge thought he won by 3 or 4, the 3rd judge only giving Beltram it by 2 rounds I thought was terrible giving Ricky the title by a draw.....this was one of the worst "homers" i have ever seen and if Ricky is the man I hope he is he will give Beltram an immediate rematch and if he loses he should hang up his gloves as something has gone seriously wrong in the last 2 years with him :( He looks drained even though he has moved up a weight, his power is not getting him any respect from average fighters, they are walking through his jab and climbing all over him and like the last fight after 4 rounds he looked exhausted.

I would agree with you mbilko, I watched tonights fight and felt that Burns didn't do anywhere near enough to earn a draw.

Ricky definitely lost the fight and for me needs to move up a weight as he looks drained.
Fair play to him though not many fighters could get through 10 rounds with a broken jaw. Had his op last night and hope to see him put this result right in the near future.
