Well done Cavendish and Wiggins.

A fantastic Tour this year. Pretty close all the way.

A great 3 weeks for Cav with 6 stage wins including the final stage in Paris where he destroyed the field in the final sprint.

As for Wiggins. A fantastic tour with a stunning 4th place overall. You are a bloody track cyclist. What the hell are you doing staying with the big boys in the mountains? A genuine future tour winner. Your card is now marked and you will have the fear and respect of the other teams.

Lance Armstrong. 37, 3 years out of the sport, only 1 season back in it. 3rd. With another year of training will he have the legs at 38?

Finally, Alberto Contador. Never paniced. Rode perfetly to his 2nd tour win. I don`t think I would bet against him next year.

So, next year is looking good. It looks like Wiggins is going to concentrate on road racing and Cav is still very young and can only get stronger. We should have the UK SKY team ran by the chap that was behind Team GB that slaughtered the rest of the world at the Olyimpics.

All we need now is ITV to give it the profile it should have and let the rest of the country know about a sport we are only going to get better in. We can rule the world at this. You never would have said that 4 years ago.

WELCOME TO KINKY CLUB.

cracking tour this year, Cav has had a great year so far and he should have had the green jersey too. oh well, plenty of time for him to get more of them than Hushovd.

looks like dolmio boy is a bit of a fan too:
