Newcastle

As much as I really like Newcastle I truly believe they have ended up with what they deserved.
The board , many many players and the fans have systematically shat on managers and gave them very little time to do any good at the club.

Shepherd and his utterances on their fans .

Ashley and his phuqwitted appointment of that torn faced little scheittebag Wise.

Wise for selling Milner without even letting the manager know, aye well done .

The fans for their part in forcing honest and hard working managers from the club.

Well done and your club is where they should be.

As for "Shearer" , aye well done folks. 5 points from a possible 24 is surely enough to award him a lengthy contract :/

The game today was one of the most gutless performances I have ever witnessed from a top flight club. Two or three players in the team actually apeared to care for the club, Taylor/ Harper and Martins. The rest looked like they were already away on their holidays. Far too many players did not give a phuq and showed absolutely no interest in the future of the club and only care for their fat phuqen pay packets.

Agree with most of what you say, but which "honest and hard working managers" have the fans forced from the club?

What I`m listening to...

Sam Allardyce.... I think when Ashley took over from Shepherd his days were numbered anyway but his record of 8 wins 10 losses and 6 draws from 24 games nets him 30 points and they only got 34 points from 14 more games this season!!!. A bit premature in getting rid of "Big Sam" but the club must have been confident he was not the man for the job. But lets face it they were never going to win the Premiership whoever they bought in to manage the club

Unless Newcastle (which have a massive fan base and dedicated/passionate supporters) get a grip in the board room I can she a Leeds Utd slide coming which would not be good for all of football.

Putting all their hopes on Owen is like backing one of his 100/1 horses!! yer lucky to win.

Explain why it wouldn`t be good for all of football.
I can`t see it making one iota of a difference.
People probably said the same thing about Leeds, life goes on.

Yeah, you could easily argue the opposite and it would serve as a wake up call to other clubs possibly spending above their means.. etc..

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

i don`t think it will Ste. since the premierships creation, there have always been
clubs who will spend beyond their means, as mentioned, look at Leeds and look who
recently got relegated from the championship.... three teams who have been in the
EPL in the last 4 or 5 years.

the fact that it`s newcastle will not make one bit of difference. there will still be teams
taking a gamble by spending big to try and maintain premiership status.

NUFC will have serious repercussions as they have so many players who are on
stupid money which can`t or won`t be sustained in the championship. they do not
have a contingency plan for relegation. fools.

Newcastle may not have a contingency plan, but a `fire sale` of their big earners will help.
Owen`s able to leave on a free this summer, for one.
A fee would have been nice, but at least it gets him off the wage bill.
There are many more players who collectively may have taken Newcastle down, but individually would be welcomed elsewhere.
Duff, Martins, Butt etc.etc.
They`ll all be snapped up.

bowf, what about the rest of the squad?

the one`s you mentioned will undoubtably bring in a few quid, but what about
the other 20 or so squad players who will also be on bigger money than the
average championship player?

unless ashley bank rolls them next season and keeps their better players
i can see them stuck in the championship for a good few years.

There are, allegedly, 15 players on £50k a week or more.
I would guess most/all of them will be snapped up by others.
They may have to take pay cuts, but I reckon most of them would to stay in the premiership and GTF out of Newcastle.

But Newcastle will get a `parachute payment` in the millions of pounds for going down. So it`s not all Gloom & Doon.
