Help with HMV

Anyone got a phone number for HMV?
I`ve had an order go missing, sent them 2 e-mails, waited 48 hours each time & still got no reply. It says on their website that their phone number is on the back of their shop till receipt, but i don`t have one. Can`t find any phone number on the website.

I think the shops and the website are separate entities. They`ve had so much traffic on this offer they`re bound to have problems, and delays answering those problems. There`s also the thing that you have to wait fourteen working days before something can be declared lost in the post.

Send them another email in the mean time.

Just had to phone them myself.

I ordered `State of Play` and got... Tara Reid in `Body Shots`. :/

Just as well they`ve got freepost returns.

I ordered "Extreme Op" (don`t ask) and got "The Rock".
When they eventually did answer my e-mail(s) they said to return it in an envelope marked Freepopst with a covering letter.
I don`t think so! They want me to go out and buy an envelope (I rip them open), write a letter and use my paper to print it out. Not likely.
No mate. Your problem, your mistake (again). You come and pick it up and when you do so deliver mine!

I`m tempted to call this lot a bunch of assclowns:

They still haven`t processed the wrong DVD they sent me, even though it was returned over a week ago. It gets even better... they decided to cancel three items from my order without so much as an e-mail. It gets even better... they took the money out of my bank anyway.

The lass I spoke to yesterday promises it`ll be sorted out, but this is the first time I`ve used HMV online, and they`re not doing much to secure my repeat custom. >:(

As of today I refuse to use this useless (that is being polite) company.
cancelled orders sent, charged twice, wrong DVD`s sent. The list is endless. E-mails never go answered and on and on it goes.
Probably the most incompetent Net company I have had the misfortune to use.
Avoid!

I`m still waiting for a `usually dispatched within 4 days` cd from the money off day on the 21st Oct! When I emailed after almost a month, saying a cd by the same band had been delivered by Play weeks ago that was ordered on the same day, and could they please tell me if they would ever have it, I got this reply.

If I required it urgently, I wouldn`t have sat here like an idiot for a month waiting, would I! Which reminds me, I ought to go cancel the order, I can`t be bothered to wait any more.
