Can someone check something for me on DVDSoon.com...

Ben Franklin (Reviewer) posted this on Tuesday, 2nd August 2005, 16:16

I can`t login to my account, and was wondering if it was just me or whether it was in fact a problem with the DVDSoon website.

Can someone try logging into theirs for me just to check?

Cheers!

Nope, still can`t get on. >:(

EDIT:
Just did the e-mail password request thing as well, and I am writing in the right username and password. I just seem to be unable to get on for some odd reason...

This happens to me on a regular basis and appears to be an intermittent problem. Try again tomorrow and you will probably manage to logon without any problem.

I am just waiting for the refund option to re-appear, then pulling out all my money.

Did anybody ever hear of a Canuck company called Eaton`s? Well, one of the big brands (I think Hilfiger) pulled up one day and reclaimed all their stock in Eaton`s. Othe companies saw/heard this, and followed suit. Next few days, Eaton`s was declared bankrupt.

I figure two months for DVDSoon.

:( I give them longer, they have no (or very little) stock anyway. They are still taking peoples money and not sending out thir DVDs you could last for a very long time while people keep paying for nothing.

I have stopped ordering from them but still have loads of unfullfilled orders as do many more (hundreds?) people.

I sent them the following email (to which I have yet to receive a reply) on Monday morning:

A couple of my orders were classified as `In Stock 48-72 hours` but are now not even `In Stock`. After a cursory glance through your top sellers list and new releases, it appears that none of your DVDs are in stock and I am worried that I will not receive any of my orders; can you assure me that you will be able to obtain stock to fulfill my orders?

Wahay, a reply! :) Shame it doesn`t answer my question. :( Quote:
Dear Sir;

I apologize for the delay in receiving Wonderland, Closer, Re-Animator:
H.P. Lovecraft, and Bride of Chucky. I have verified with the movies
department and we have not received any further information from the
studio regarding these titles and assure you that we are continuously
requesting further information. Once we have more information we will
definitely contact you once again.

In the mean time, if you do find the delays too long, you may cancel
your order if you wish to do so . You can cancel your order at your
leisure by logging in to your account and opening the order located
under the pending tab. Once there you will be presented with your
order
details. At the end of the details you will locate a red cancellation
button. Simply click on this button to cancel the order and issue a
credit to your DVDSoon account. Once again I apologize for the
inconvenience.
