Page 1 of LOVEFILM TERRIBLE TURNAROUND

I have used lovefilm for 4 weeks now and in that time I have had 2 go missing and the turnaround is terrible.

With blockbuster I averaged 6 movies a week, if I returned the movies on the same day I watched them. They receive next day and dispatch another 3.

With lovefilm I have averaged 4 movies a week, I return them on the same day of receving them but for some strange reason, they receive them 2 or 3 day later.

I will be cancelling and going back to blockbuster.

From my experience Blockbusters turnaround was good but when it came to dispatching titles from the top of the list they were not so good.

I do not believe it is usually down to the postal service when it comes to turnaround speeds. I believe Lovefilm are purposely slowing down the process which is something blockbusters never did when I was a member for 3 months.

I`ve got to agree... When I was with Lovefilm I usually got 2 films a week. Blockbusters turnaround times when I subscribed were excellent - I easily managed 6 films a week. Still had the "top of the list" troubles with BB though :(

During my free month with Blockbuster, I got through 17 DVDs; I have seen 11 DVDs after 12 days of my trial period with Lovefilm.

aye i took lovefilm up on there 3 months for 1 month offer as i was an ex customer getting same turnarund here 2 discs in a week just isnt game i wont be renewing my contract with them if things dont change >:(

I`m am getting 3 DVDs a week from these clowns. It takes my rentals 5 days to get back to them but 1 day to get to me. I queried this and they blamed royal mail, not likely that royal mail only work slow from me to them and not the other way round.

I have joined Blockbuster and am averaging 6 a week, much better service.

Sorry to have to agree, been with Lovefilm almost a year and was very happy, but in the last month or so the service has deteriorated drastically, from wrong discs being sent - on one occasion they sent the same wrong one twice, though at least they were quick about it! - to discs returned to them taking five working days to `arrive`.

Interested to check my lovefilm rental history today and see that they have removed the dates of return, so now we`ll have no idea how long things are taking.
Time to cancel is coming fast.
