Page 1 of Someone recommend me a avi to dvd programme....

Hi im looking for a programme to join 3 avi files together and burn them to dvd? Im hopless at anythin like this so any help would be grateful, oh and one thats freeware please..

I would suggest ConvertXToDVD as it is the dogs b*llocks, but you also have to pay for it (unless you`re handy at downloading these things).

It`s the only piece of software I`ve paid for... it`s that good!

And no, I don`t work for them...

Ok Gareth i took your advice, i now have ConvertXToDVD , is it possible to trim a part of one of my avi files before joing them?

Hmmm, don`t think you can do that with ConvertXToDVD... you will need some video editing software to do that.

yup

virtualdub will do it.

In fact virtualdub can edit and join your avis and then all you need to do is convert via
convertxtodvd

Hi Derek.
depending on how much you want to soend on this, but Ulead dvd factory is excellent for converting most movies to dvd. costs around £50 but I am sure a search on ebay might bring it cheaper.
