Dunno if there`s many fans of The Killers on here? I don`t rate the new single at all :/ but here`s a link to a couple more free mp3s from the forthcoming album

Aye, they were a highlight at a wet and soggy Glastonbury.

Not impressed with the single either but should be getting the new album through the door at some point today, so I`ll give it a few spins and see what I think.

The album is fantastic, much better production than Hot Fuss. There`s more oomph to it this time round and as the OP says no filler really. Couple of tracks that could be in Enterlude and Exitlude (the former is oddly 2nd track in, while the UK edition has another track after Exitlude...), but they work really well.

I like When You Were Young, but there are far better tracks on the album like Sam`s Town, Bling, Uncle Jonny and just about every other track.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

I must admit, I`ve been playing "Bling" quite alot, it is a good track. Don`t think I`ll be buying the album, might have a look on limewire though... ;)

The album is good, some great tracks, and as usual they grow on you after a while. It would be very hard to better Hot Fuss, but I think they have just about done it??

Can`t wait for them to appear at another festival, as this would be the best atmosphere for the new tracks.

Need to find a copy of the recent "Vodaphone" gig (video file). Apparently it is on very late tonight on 4, was it filmed in Blackpool???? As i have a copy of the radio one broadcast obtainedfrom the net, which is a great gig. I cannot work out how to record it via timer on my panny DVD recorder :(

Yeah decent album, but have only skipped through so far and listened to the tracks that I have liked on first listen.

Must agreet that Enterlude is random being track 2, especially as it`s such a slow track.
