What happens to the TVs that are set Reception Analogue when everything changes to Digital 2008.
Do they have to be converted or dumped.

its going to have to be a separate freeview, sky, or cable box - the receiver in your set will be redundant
Does this also mean that you cannot tape one programme whilst watching another. If so it does seem a bit of a step backward, apart from the picture quality.

Does that include picture break-up,freezing (though sound continues) and of course the dreaded "no signal" message and the automatic upgrade that arrived last week and made my freeview box less easy to use. :¦ :¦
It means you need a dual tuner digital box with a HDD. Or maybe by then DVD recorders will have the digital tuners built in. I have a DigiFusion digital box and it is great. Can record all my stuff during the week and play it back on the weekend. Only has a 20GB hard disk but there are others with bigger disks. Have only filled it about 75% and that was with me and my housemate both out and recording stuff. It can also record subtitles if you need to, I think it is the only box that does.
