Page 1 of Scan SC-2000 `MP3 Fastforward and rewind` New functionality

I have installed the latest V2.14 F/W on my Scan.
I have just noticed that Fastforward and Rewind now works when playing MP3 disks - a terrific feature !

Was this introduced in V2.14 ?

I have firmware V2.08 and just tried this and there is a degree of mp3 FF and FR function. It increases the play speed to about 10x or 20x and gets to the end of the track very quickly. - same in FR. I did not notice this function before V 2.08. Is the V2.14 version better than this with more control of the FF and FR?

God! you lot are a sad bunch.

We`re not sad bear - you`re just jealous that you`re Sony doesn`t do MP3!

I can only get 2x forward or rewind on 2.14. If I press the forward or rewind a second time in succession, it just goes back to play again.
What am I doing wrong? (no that`s not a cue for a tosser reply Bear!)

PS. Would also be handy to get ID3 v2 tags as well as ID3 v1?
PPS. Is this worth adding to wanted-features list in your FAQ NiVZ?
