250 quid with the docking station. Value is debateable.
I think it`s great. All kinds of extra gimmicks once you
understand how to use it properly. Upgrades and logos,
formats to change via pc and even Tetris which is accessed
by pressing the right combo of buttons, The macros are the
bollox (pure lazyness for those with Homer Simpson traits)
The real issue is that they might be harder to find in the states
with thier own manufacturers producing alternatives, but good
luck if you do. Basically lose your array of remotes and give this
a go. A very good set-up tool.

thanks for those comments, i do like the idea of macros but they can be difficullt to get the hang of, i.e if say you programmed at a puush of the dvd button the remote to on my system sitch ther dvd on the tv to the s-video and then the processor on the turn the amp to the right input you start getting problems
if any one of the above is already on the macro will switch it off, so if you were changing from sky digital to dvd the tv and amp would end up being turned off, i know that you can change everything manualy but i think that defeats the object of macros, i think that the makers need to find a way that the remote rembers if it has switched the relevant items on and make the needed adjustment to the macro to stop this happening, otherwise the only option is to switch everything off before changing the source, maybe somebody will read this and tell phillips!!!!

That`s were discrete codes come in, rather than the usual toggle or cycle code. If you look on the web there are discrete codes to set a particular mode for certain equipments. It`s the equipment manufacturers who need to allow any remote set particular modes.
