dvd recorder widescreen signal Q.

is there a way to record in widescreen on the panasonic hs2 so that the recorder switches the aspect ratio of the tv automaticaly? when im recording the picture is wide but when i play back the picture is tall & thin, i have to switch manualy which is a bit of a pain.

Yeah, I have my connected by SCART to the Sky box. The Sky box is configured to 16:9 and there are settings on the HS2 that configure it to play to a 16:9 telly too. Look under "functions" and "setup".
