Sony DVP S735 Cabling???

RCEisCrap (Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 5th December 2000, 11:31

Hi

I`ve just purchased a lovely 735 DVD player....but I am a bit confused about the cabling...

Will I need to buy a SCART cable or is the DVD player supplied with all the necessary cables???

Hope someone can help me....
Cheers.
Ben

Can`t vouch for Sony, but usually most manufacturers put a scart cable in. However they tend not be the best quality, check it out first and if its not a decent one, then I`d recommend investing in a good scart, such as QED, IXOS or B-TECH X/Z range cable.

Cheers

Sony tend to include basic av cables with their dvd players. With my 725 I got a 3-way phono (gold plated mind you) and an s-video cable (ditto)

no scart - but I would assume this is mostly because they expect someone buying a decent player like this to buy an expensive scart cable, just like general hifi gear comes cable-free or with just enough cables to get you going.
