Page 1 of RCE Does It Effect The Wharfedale 750?

Haven`t been here for a while but I need the boards help. I`m thinking of buying a Region One copy of Resident Evil but it is RCE.

Can my Wharfedale play these discs. I`ve been told that RCE only effects mulit-region players and technically the Wharfedale 750 is a R2 so does that make it exempt?

I`ve got a 750 and had it upgraded to get rid of the problem with playing Jaws etc.
Now I was wondering about the RCE question, but my mate lent me Final Fantasy and that played fine.
So I think the rule is RCE play fine once you`ve had the upgrade.

If you want the DVD, you will sooner or later get a player that plays it even if your Wharfdale won`t. I`d buy the DVD anyway.

I have the FINAL 750 that this very site says that The Patriot (R1) RCE plays fine. I`ll buy it anyway. Spend more than £16 p***ing my money away on a Saturday night!

I could always sell it to a market stall in my town who deals in R1 DVD`s.
