Page 1 of PLEASE HELP! NEED HACK FOR BUSH 2043!

Please help! I got this dvd player free and I can`t change the region! I`ve tried some other Bush hacks, but no luck. Thanks!

Have you tried this one for the Bush 2047

Power up - display is only via TV screen.
Open
Setup
Go to preferences by use of Left/Right arrows
Press 2, 8, 1, 2 in sequence.
Popup appears showing region and SW version.
Use up and Dn arrows to select region 0 for multi region.
Press setup to exit the menu.
Press open to close the tray

Player appeared to remember the setting after powerdown.

Hi Hackeroonie,

I have just acquired a Bush 2045.

I tried using the method you described for the Bush 2047, but the Left/Right arrow does not permit me to get to Preferences (pressing Left key you go from General to Audio to Dolby to Video and then back to General missing out Preferences).

Any clues?
