Hi.

I would also like the region hack for the Logik L22LIDI9. I have tried the region hacks for logik dvd players (open tray, press 9735), but no luck. Any ideas would be great!

Worked, no problem!!
1. Turn power on w/out disc.
2. Wait for message - `no disc`, or `check disc`
3. Press pause on the remote
4. Press 3,1,4,1,5,9
5. Press 0 (for multi-regional)
6. Press pause again
7. Power off, wait @ 30 sec, power back on.

repeat steps if you want to check the change took place.
Very easy!!

Haven`t had a chance to test any VCDs out to see if that hack worked for me.

Which portable DVD player???

I`m looking to buy a portable dvd player for my child to take on long trips (airplane and car). I`ve been looking at a GOODMANS xgdvd80w12m and a Wharfedale WDP-1210 and I think they both have pros and cons, but thought I`d see if anyone had any thoughts on these or any other portable players. Can they be hacked for multi-region? (we have tons of both region1 & 2). Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.

I found one that worked, tho maybe b/c the version ended in 07.01. The help stated it might not work for a different version.

PRESS `SET UP`

GOTO `PREFERENCE PAGE` using right/left arrows

PRESS DOWN ARROW ONCE (you`ll get TV type: PAT, NTSC, MULTI)

PRESS 1379 (you`ll get a screen w/ REGION CODE in the middle)

USE UP/DOWN ARROWS TO CHANGE REGION ( 0 for all regions)

PRESS `SET UP` to exit

it worked very well, and no problems after turning it off and on again.
