Just after a general steer in the right direction.
18 year old already with a full car licence wanting to buy a Bike and do the training and test.
Can he buy a 600 restricted to the limit required or does he have to start with a smaller bike.
I've read the new licencing guff on DVLA but I'm still not clear on what's possible.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

You have to take your CBT on a 125cc before you can progress to any other size bike.

The article in the telegraph lays out the order they go

Thanks for the link.
I knew it had all changed but that is just insane.
As the guy says, no contribtion to safety in anyway and just encourages you to stay on L plates till you can go the full hit at 24.
